Each year, we aim to create an interesting programme that will appeal to all, whether you’re a first time sailor or an old salt. Tall ship sailing holidays range from long weekends to more extensive six night voyages in stunning locations. You may wish to join for passage-making trips where the crew will be happy to show you the ropes and share the daily routine of watch-keeping.
On board we like to encourage everyone to take part in the sailing of the vessel; you can experience something of former times, by sharing the thrill of traditional tall ship sailing. Like old seafarers of the past, join our crew to hoist and set the sails, take the helm, help plot the course, pull on ropes and climb the rigging! Live for life’s simple pleasures; waking up to the smell of freshly baked bread and coffee, tasting the clean salt air in your lungs and watching the sun rise and set over new horizons, listening to the ever changing moods of the sea while touching the past!
Instead of the hardships of unloading heavy cargo, enjoy visiting the old harbours and anchorages at your leisure. Take the ship’s boat to go ashore and explore, visit tranquil beaches and coves, or perhaps you would rather stay aboard and absorb the peace, or if you have an adventurous heart imagine crossing oceans to far away places. Below decks the former cargo-hold has been transformed to provide an atmospheric large saloon and dining area, galley, shower room and bunks. In the evenings there is ample room to relax, chat amongst new-found friends, or find a peaceful corner to rest.
You can join us as an individual or with as group of up to 12 guests.
Our fees have no hidden extras. The only thing you pay for, once onboard, is drinks from the bar if you wish to make use of that facility. Otherwise everything – all your food and drink, bed-linens, towels, berthing fees etc – is included.
“For anyone who enjoys living aboard and sailing a traditional tall ship, this is a hands-on experience that gives great value, excellent food and magnificent sailing! To be recommended!
